Day 01: Hanoi Arrival - Halong Bay
As soon as you arrive Noi Bai international airport, our guide come cand pick you up then transfer directly to Halong city. We arrive in Halong city in the afternoon. We enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Halong City.
Day 02: Halong Bay - Boat trip – Hanoi (B, L, D)
After breakfast we will transfer to Halong Bay, the spectacular World Heritage Site. Once there, we will embark on our boat for 4 hour boat trip to visit Halong Bay – The World Nature Heritage. During the time we will have the opportunity to visit the spectacular Heaven Palace (Thien Cung) and Dau Go caves, those caves crammed with thousand of stalactites and stalagmites with different colors, shapes and size. Those definitely will stir our imagination. We keep cruising to see many lime stone islands and islets which dotted around the bay including: Incense Bowl islet, Cock Fighting islet, Sail islet, Turtle Island... Seafood lunch will be served on boat. Then we go back to Hanoi in the afternoon.
Day 03: Hanoi City Tour (B, L,D)
Have breakfast at your hotel
08:30: Pick up from hotel. Hanoi daily tour starts.
09:00: Visit Ho Chi Minh’s complex. This complex includes Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilt. Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is the final resting place of Uncle Ho. Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilt is a place where the great president of Vietnam lived and worked (1958 – 1969).
10:00: Visit One-Pillar Pagoda – the symbol of Hanoi city, modeled after a lotus follower. It is one of Vietnam’s two most iconic pagodas. Afterwards, tourists will come to visit Tran Quoc pagoda – a Buddhist relic and national heritage lying on the West Lake.
11:00 The City Tour continues with the Museum of Ethnology – where introduces some main cultural features of 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam.
12:30: Have lunch in a restaurant with Vietnamese traditional dishes.
14:00 Visit Temple of Literature – the most famous temple located Hanoi. It is considered as the first university of Vietnam.
15:00: Visit Ngoc Son Temple on Hoan Kiem Lake. This temple was built in commemoration of the 13th century military leader Tran Hung Dao who was renowned for his bravery in the battle against the Yuan Dynasty.
15:30 - 16:30: Riding a traditioal cyclo through the narrow alleys of the old quarter district then back your hotel
19h30: have dinner. Overnight in hanoi
Day 04: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc (B, L, D)
07:30 Our bus & tour guide will pick you up at the hotel in Ha Noi old quarter then depart for Ninh Binh province. On the half way stop for short break about 20 minutes.
9:30: Arrive at Hoa Lu, which is once depicted the ancient capital of Viet Nam, settled up in the 10th century.
11:00: Visit temples of two dynasties of Dinh and Le with a very unique architectures in the old time.
11:30: Visit the excavation area beside the Le Dai Hanh temple. You experience the vestiges of Royal Palaces ground dated back 10th century. Go back to the bus and drive to Tam Coc.
12:30: After that, the bus will transfer you to Tam Coc and have lunch at the restaurant.
13:30: Board the sampan boats (2 people share a boat) in Tam Coc dock to drift down the river among the villages, mountains and lush rice fields. Passing through 3 caves "Hang Ca - First cave, Hang Hai -Second cave, Hang Ba - Third cave" to get a strange feeling.
15h:30: Boat returns to Tam Coc pier. And then we have 45 minutes for cycling ride along country lane. Take the bus back to Hanoi.
18:00 - 18:30: Arrival at the hotel in Ha Noi old quarter.
19:30: Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 05 Hanoi - Departure (B)
Have breakfast at your hotel and then you are free untill our driver come and transfer to airport to catch flight to your home. End trip
